We reached the five month mark this past Monday. We can’t believe how fast the time is going by. People always tell you to enjoy each little moment because it’ll pass by in the blink of an eye. I’ve always nodded in agreement and thought to myself, ‘Yeah right…time takes foreverrrrr to pass.’ But when you have a child–it really does fly by.
William is such a happy baby- God blessed us with this sweet soul. He smiles, giggles, and babbles constantly. He has also mastered rolling over both ways, and is at the beginning stages of crawling. Slow down, baby boy! He can sit up for a few minutes before he topples over. He is still a great sleeper at night, snoozing from 6pm-6am. His naps have gotten a little shorter than we’d like- but I hear you either have a great napper or a great night sleeper.
We’ve also started him on solids! Bottles alone weren’t doing it for him, anymore. Solids are fun! We did rice cereal for about 2 weeks in the evening. He got the hang of it pretty quickly. Then we moved the cereal in between his two morning bottles and started trying different veggies in the evenings.
We started with carrots. He was a fan. After 5 days with the carrots, we added in green beans. After a few more days we added peas. I’m looking forward to making my own baby food. I’m hoping to make some this weekend. 😊
I’m loving this stage in W’s life and can’t wait to see what else awaits us!
