We hit the four month mark last week and I have to say, Wesley & I have noticed a big difference in our little man. He has always been a happy baby, but now he is constantly giggling, smiling, and babbling. It is soooo nice. When we were going through that newborn phase, everyone kept telling us that things would settle down around the 4 month mark- and they did!
Even though William still isn’t on a predictable time schedule. We are in a good routine. I know that he will have 3 naps every day- 2 lasting about an hour and the other is generally 2 hours. I also know that he will go down to sleep anytime between 6:30pm-7:30pm and will wake up once between 10:30pm-12:00am for a feeding and then will go back to sleep until 6:00am. And I think the best news of the 4 month mark is that we can finally ween him off his Zantac. Woohoooo!
If you’re still in that newborn phase and wishing for a consistent routine… it isn’t that far away! You’ll get to 4 months before you know it. Now- I’ve been reading about the four month sleep regression. We’ve yet to see any signs of this… and knock on wood,it stays that way!
However, I know people say once you get in a good routine and you have your confident parent face on, something changes and you have to figure it all out again. But for now, four months has been great!!!
